Eric Caloud is a native of Madison, WI where he attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training in 2017. Upon graduation, he decided to venture West to attend the University of Utah to obtain his Master of Science in Sports Medicine while simultaneously working as an athletic trainer for the Utes Men's and Women's ice hockey teams. He completed his degree in 2020 and returned to the Midwest to Minnesota to work at a Sports Medicine clinic from 2020 to 2022. He was determined to further his medical education and earned a second Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies at Augsburg University in 2024.
Eric completed his final clinical rotation of PA school with Dr. Pappas and was offered an opportunity to join the team. He was ecstatic to relocate to the Charleston area following graduation to practice in Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine alongside Dr. Pappas. In his free time, he enjoys exploring Charleston with his wife and puppy, working out, and watching the Wisconsin Badgers and Green Bay Packers.
