John Schulte has long been fascinated by the human body’s capacity to repair itself. Growing up, he sustained a number of injuries while playing sports. Recovering from those injuries kindled his interest in Orthopaedics, and a desire to make a direct impact on patients’ lives led him to become a PA.
John Schulte has long been fascinated by the human body’s capacity to repair itself. Growing up, he sustained a number of injuries while playing sports. Recovering from those injuries kindled his interest in Orthopaedics, and a desire to make a direct impact on patients’ lives led him to become a PA.
John graduated from FGCU where he played catcher for the baseball team prior to a career-ending shoulder injury. He then attended South University, Tampa, for PA School. He’s no stranger to the team here at South Carolina Sports Medicine & Orthopaedic Center. While completing his education, John spent his final clinical rotation working with our own Dr. Hambright. Based on that experience, he knew he would be a great fit here, adding, “The staff in the office are a dedicated and passionate group of people.”
“I love the ability to be hands-on with our patients and assist in getting them back to living life the way they want to.”
John’s favorite sport is baseball, and he loves to get outdoors. Any day he can spend outside hiking in the woods, biking, or out on the water is a great day.
